It is cool to be in school...

Big sigh. Finally. Next step? Let's ditch the province-wide collective bargaining process (surely Vince Ready can think up a method that actually works).

Biggest victory - class sizes stay out of the collective agreement, where they have no business being.

Biggest loss - ten school days and untold damage to the credibilty of the BCTF.

Let's talk about municipal politics this week, so that the Learning Roundable can get up and going without too much peanut gallery action.

I think we should mention the payback being done by Sara McIntyre and her CTF Marines as "the biggest loss" is some "coin" while the CTF helps clear the skies and the "untold damage to the credibilty of the BCTF" should be rather bad when people go HERE to sign up for the class action litigation against the BCTF.
[Hopefully the first 3 links are good pictoral commentary on the whole disaster. It's what the BCTF has coming.]

Replace province-wide collective bargaining with what - the old district-by-district whipsawing the BCTF used to favour?
